GPinfo

GPinfo combines a comprehensive database of Australasian petroleum exploration information with a powerful, custom-built GIS for graphically viewing and manipulating the data.

GPinfo is offered as a subscription service with data updates issued monthly via the internet and regular software updates provided on an ongoing basis.

Installation options range from a standalone system on a single PC to a fully export-enabled system with unrestricted access running on a corporate network.

  • all current permits with attributes including participants and percentage ownership
  • all petroleum wells ever drilled in the region (12,000) with attributes including operator, result and status
  • full company information
  • monthly permit history from 1991 (optional)
  • stick map with 5 million kilometres of SNIP seismic data
